Florida Keys, Raytheon partner on screener training Florida Keys Community College (FKCC) has teamed with the Raytheon Technical Services Co. to provide training space and screeners aptitude testing to support the U.S. Transportation Security Administration’s Screening Partnership Program. “The college is excited about the many opportunities that Raytheon will bring to the Florida Keys including new jobs for our students, a boost to our local economy and overall support to Florida Keys Community College,” said Florida Keys President Jill Landesberg-Boyle. Cathy Torres, FKCC testing coordinator, was instrumental in laying the groundwork in advance of the project by setting up the testing required for airport security screeners. Raytheon was recently awarded a $16.3 million contract by the Transportation Security Administration for airport screening at Key West International Airport and Florida Keys Marathon Airport.
