University of Virginia president to fund raise for state CCs

University of Virginia President John Casteen III will fund raise for Virginia’s community colleges after he retires in August. Casteen, who launched a $3 billion fund-raising campaign at his university, will join the board of directors of the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education, which supports Virginia’s 23 community colleges, primarily through scholarships.
