​Educators and other stakeholders seeking more information about President Barack Obama’s proposed American Jobs Act can participate in conference calls beginning Sept. 29.

The White House has set a state-by-state schedule for the conference calls, which will run through December.

Obama announced his jobs plan earlier this month. It would include $5 billion to renovate and repair community colleges and funding for job training programs.
